Stella Fletton

Nature lover / Author / Spiritual Warrior

Final version of me_edited.jpg

As a feminist, childless cat lady with a Druid hubby, The Salliniquai Chronicles romantasy books are my children being sent out into the world. I hope they do not crash and burn...

Like my fellow author I wish to raise awareness of The Third Way. Unlike my fellow author, I was drawn to writing fiction fantasy instead of non-fiction, and since we both hail from London originally, aspects of both of our lives were weaved into these.

For my part, when life got too much and my mind was full to bursting with too many options, I turned to astrology, and the tarot. I don't mean getting a reading every week hoping never to make a miss-step like some sort of Dice-man.

I've had maybe three professional readings, and these were only when I was at a major crossroads in my life. Usually dealing with unexpected change.

I used what I got from those readings to keep going, bolstered by personal, solitary readings I gradually learned to do for myself.

The Matriarchy

Image 28.jpg

Most people assume a matriarchy is the same as a patriarchy, but with women at the top controlling everything. This is incorrect, for it is not a system that puts women on top and then invents ways to stop the progress of men. It puts children on top.

The Matriarchy is nature's divine way of showing us the true, meaningful possibilities that enrich people's lives right now, not in some supposed heaven after death. By then, it is too late. By then, you must reap the karmic and dharmic rewards you set in motion during this one life. Which could be your first, your last, of any one in-between; if you believe in reincarnation through Samsara.

By then, it is too late to withdraw from the trap those in power have set to enslave every soul, and for what? Profit. Status. Standing. Nothing that brings peace.

Aquarius

Yes, I admit we are a crazy, harmlessly mad lot, and an elemental contradiction ...

A lot of people think Aquarius is a water sign, and it does seem logical since Aquarius means water. But Aquarius is the master air sign.

While the Aquarius symbol shows an Aquarian water-bearer, pouring our magical healing heart energy out across all of humanity, we have a rebellious streak, and we do not wear our hearts on our sleeves.

Aquarius is the sharpest of all zodiac signs, so when an Aquarius speaks, listen. And its not because we are trying to sound smarter than everybody, its not because we constantly need attention, its because Aquarius notice things other people skim past.

This sign naturally zooms out and analyses life from angles other people don't even think to look from, and that's why Aquarius' opinions sometimes sound strange at first. Strange to people that really don't understand, then the shit makes perfect sense later because an Aquarius mind naturally moves ahead of emotional moments.

So, while everyone reacts emotionally in real time, Aquarius is already thinking, 'okay, but what does this lead to long term?' And another thing. Aquarius does not blindly follow group thinking well. It's what makes us stand out. We are unique in our questioning of social norms, the trends, the power structures, people's intentions, and why certain behaviours become normalised.

I became a villain the very first time I understood that societies systems were not built for everybody. I was exiled early on because I pointed out the things everyone else is ignoring. Because nobody wants to take responsibility for it. It's just the way things have always been, that's just the way it is, it's not meant to hurt anybody. But Aquarius won't accept that kind of bullshit and so, we become the villain since we will always point out systemic systems of injustice.
